About Course
In this exciting hands-on module of the Future Space Pioneers Academy, students will transform their custom 3D-printed 1U cubesat frame and complete electronics kit into a fully assembled, functional satellite ready for orbit. Over nine carefully paced 15–30 minute video segments, learners will safely bolt together the structural frame, mount the Raspberry Pi Zero W as the satellite’s central computer, install three reaction wheels for precise attitude control, wire up the 18650 lithium battery system with solar energy management board, integrate the 9-axis IMU sensor and 16-megapixel Arducam camera, attach deployable solar panels with hinges and servo actuator, complete professional cable management, and perform a final systems checkout. Each short lesson includes clear instructor-led video demonstrations, simple slide decks, and printable step-by-step how-to guides so students can build at their own pace with confidence. By the end of this module, every student will proudly hold a real working 1U cubesat they built themselves.
